No Cold Calling Zone

Compton Bishop is designated a ‘No Cold Calling Zone’. Many cold callers are trading illegally and, usually, unwanted. The police are keen to clamp down on this illegal activity and have installed signs at each entry into the parish. You will be receiving an explanatory note from PC Wills with the December edition of 'Contact'.
Some residents will already have 'No Cold Calling' stickers on their doors. These were distributed some time ago by your Neighbourhood Watch coordinator who can provide you with new or replacement stickers.
