A consultation on the housing needs for the parishes of Badgworth, East Brent, Chapel Allerton, Compton Bishop and Weare showed there was a need for some affordable housing. See the consultation report on housing need in this area by clicking here.
An Exhibition - Proposed Development which includes Affordable Housing
Sedgemoor District Council has identified the need for more affordable homes for local people in the The East Brent Parish and surrounding Parishes.
South Western Housing Society would like to provide 11 affordable homes for local people at Rooksbridge.
Sedgemoor District Council wish to gauge the initial reaction and views of these proposals and have arranged for a a consultation event on the proposals for the development in Pill Road, Rooksbridge. You are invited to attend and find out more - click here for details.
