· Does "Every Little Help" when it comes to wine?
· Can you actually "Taste the Difference"?
· Does buying locally bring "Little Surprises" when it comes to vino?
Join Matthew Hemming, local Master of Wine (one of just 389 in the world!) for a fun and informal evening of wine tasting, pitching familiar supermarket bottles against their peers sourced from a local Winscombe wine shop.
Adding a couple of bottles to your weekly basket is so convenient, and the supermarkets always out-perform on value, right? See if this is really the case, whilst testing out the value and quality that can be found for similar money in a local business. Matthew will guide us through the evening, throwing in some simple tips about wine, as we share a few bottles with friends and neighbours whilst raising money to support the “Friends of Weare Church” charity.
Tickets are only £12.50, which includes wine tasting, cheeses, breads and nibbles. To buy tickets please contact Steve Mercer on 01934 732668, Paul Wattam (01934 732413), Rita Hanson (01934 732212) or Angela Le Prevost on 01934 732419. There are only a limited number of tickets available so book early to avoid disappointment.
